Fortitude Apartments + Good Hope Road Library

Located along busy Good Hope Road, the development’s design creates a sense of place for a new multifamily housing development and a prominent library within the ground floor. It was important to create individual identities for both while maintaining an aesthetic compositional balance.
Projecting from the base of the residential component the public library is the prominent feature along the main street. Large expanses of glass showcase the inviting activity of the library, while offering distant views west and beyond the adjacent golf course. The library is on the ground floor with residential units above. The development continues with two-story, three-bedroom walk-up units to the south.
