The campus community, critical to the social and academic success of students, begins with the individual resident room. It expands to include the residence hall, campus food service facilities, student union, academic buildings, the sports, recreation and arts complexes, and the campus environment. Because any addition, renovation or new construction has a lasting and significant impact on a higher education campus, we seek to understand the inherent character of the site, the building, and the people who live there. The essential characteristics of each university or college is different, including student and administrative demographics, campus geography, and specific building information and program requirements.
