At Union Grove

The Veterans Home at Union Grove is a three-story structure providing skilled nursing services to 120 residents. The majority of resident rooms are private with a private toilet (106). Five rooms are toe-to-toe designed double units, separated by wardrobe casework that allows privacy between residents. The building also has six private bariatric rooms. Additional space was added to bedroom and toilet rooms to allow for staff assisting with care needs. Each room has an integrated ceiling lift system for transfers from bed to wheelchair to toilet. Ceiling lifts were also incorporated into each resident SPA to assist with transfers into the whirlpool tub.
