The sound of shattered glass rang throughout Brady Street yesterday as Ogden Real Estate broke ground on a new housing option coming to Milwaukee’s east side. The Keystone Apartments will provide 22-units of luxury living space along the lively street. The design of the apartments references historic cues from existing buildings on Brady Street. In attendance during the groundbreaking was Alderman Nic Kovac, stating that he “thinks this is a great building (the Keystone), and it came out of many different and often conflicting opinions about what should be here. But at the end of the day I think it’s well designed. It will be a new icon on an iconic street.”
