As one of the first major tenants in a new award-winning apartment development in downtown Milwaukee, GLOSS Nail Spa wanted to stand out from other nail salons in the area. Working with multi-generational clients, the design team was challenged with taking a project typical of a strip mall and creating a boutique nail salon that fused the Eastern and Western cultures of the owners.
The serene, yet dynamic color palette balances organic and sleek elements. A dark stained concrete floor and luxury vinyl tiles anchor a glossy white Nail Bar that serves up cocktails and manicures beneath a suspended soffit of woven bamboo.
