New London Public Museum
New London, WI
In 2016, the Museum engaged Engberg Anderson to develop a plan to take advantage of space soon becoming available. The library within the shared building was being relocated to a new facility allowing for the museum to expand and reimagine its space. The study included a comprehensive look at the condition of the building, identified priorities for space use, and developed a concept design. The new design represented an ideal scenario for meeting the needs of patrons, staff, and collected objects. It is anticipated that the next phase of design will balance the proposed renovations with budget expectations. The renovated museum will be a cultural destination, for locals and tourists alike.
