Oshkosh Public Museum
Oshkosh, WI
Engberg Anderson developed a master plan and pre-funding schematic design to expand and renovate the existing Oshkosh Public Museum facilities. Originally designed in 1908 as a private residence for Edgar Sawyer, the building is now challenged to meet 21st-century visitor expectations. The conceptual design features a new entrance that will welcome visitors into a large, accommodating lobby. From there, visitors may choose to enter new exhibit halls, the public program and meeting spaces, an expanded research facility, or the current museum.
