Engberg Anderson and Enteros Design teamed together for the programming, design, and construction of two branch libraries for the Roanoke City Libraries. The Williamson Road Branch Library was a 6,000 sf expansion of a 6,000 sf existing library, completely transforming the interior and replacing all building systems. The partnership between the Roanoke City Libraries and Goodwill provides coordinated services for the surrounding neighborhood. Williamson provides an active learning opportunity for learners of all ages. Additionally, they offer pre-literacy interactives for toddlers, teen gaming areas, innovation labs, and business centers. Engberg Anderson provided programming, library-focused space planning, and furnishings selection.
