The Suites @ 201 residence hall provides housing for 323 students in an apartment-style arrangement featuring four single-occupant bedrooms, a common living room, kitchen and bathroom facilities dedicated to that apartment only. Of the eighty-two apartments, five units allow the Community Advisor (CA) to reside within the four-bedroom apartment while maintaining a private, corridor entrance into the CA’s room. The new building features sustainable design principles emphasizing energy efficiency, long-term durability and maintenance while remaining flexible and adaptable. The project meets at least LEED Silver certification requirements.
