Engberg Anderson worked with Heartland Housing to design a mixed-use development that provides both supportive housing and social services for Madison. The building includes 60 residential units, offices for service providers, a community room and a teaching kitchen. The building features sustainability in both design and operation of the building with stormwater management, a second-floor roof garden, and even an urban chicken coop.
Tax Credit Financing was provided by WHEDA (Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority).
