Mitchell Park Conservatory Domes

In collaboration with ArtsMarket, Engberg Anderson worked with the county to understand and evaluate the long-term viability options for the Mitchell Park Domes. The team examined potential partnerships to develop funding and revenue options. In addition to creating design options, the team addressed programming, conceptual space planning, and cost estimating.

Using national and international peers, the team evaluated comparable utilization, revenue streams, and rates. Next, the design team worked with a task force formed by the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors and developed a ten-year pro forma for operations and capital financing. The Task Force unanimously approved the plan for sustained operation of the Domes.
