Brassworks Apartments
Delavan, WI
Brassworks Apartments was completed in partnership with General Capital Group. The building was originally constructed as a factory to produce synthetic fur that was originally used in buffer sheets. It was quickly found to be very useful for paint rollers, and eventually was used to line winter jackets. The factory also produced highly classified military equipment for WWII. Most recently, it was a foundry producing belt buckles and pins, as well as buttons and medals used in Civil War reenactment uniforms.
