The Huron Building
Milwaukee, WI
The Huron Building, a 290,000 sf mixed-use office building, will be located on a prominent corner in downtown Milwaukee. Two historically significant buildings will bookend and serve compliment to the Huron. As such, Engberg Anderson and J.Jeffers & Co. put significant consideration into the exterior articulation of the building. The building will feature proportions, materials, and masonry motifs that are intended to harmonize with this historical context, albeit with a modern twist. Eleven stories in total, the building will consist of internal parking, tall retail spaces along the street, and office space above. The massing steps back at the 8th floor provide a view corridor to the historic clock tower and a roof-top terrace.
